Brandon Marsh
Since competing his first triathlon in 1988, triathlons have been Brandon’s passion. He has raced every distance from Ironkids to Ironman. While in high school, in addition to running and swimming, he represented the U.S. at the 1992 Triathlon World Championships in Muskoka, Canada. Shortly after transitioning from being a high school swimmer and cross country runner, he turned to triathlons and won his first of many Texas State Triathlon championship in 1993. As an age grouper, he has represented the USA at 3 ITU Triathlon World Championship events and qualified for more. After finishing 2nd overall at the USA Triathlon National Amateur Championships in 2003, he began racing as a professional and has competed on 6 of the continents…and is waiting on the Antarctica triathlon!!
Since racing as a professional, his racing has focused on ITU racing from 2005 – 2006 and then on the 70.3 and Ironman distance in 2007 to the present. Since beginning his professional career, Brandon has been one of the more consistent American pros on the circuit, and can be counted on to be a top-10 contender in every event he enters.
In 2010 and 2011, He was fortunate enough to be a member of Team The Bike Boutique, an international team of professional triathletes coached by Brett Sutton. 2012 will see Team-Marsh continuing to focus on racing the 70.3 and Ironman Distance triathlons. We will be based in the US and will be working on growing the ‘Team-Marsh’ brand!! Stay tuned!
