Celebrations

Last weekend we had some celebrating to do. We're lucky that both our families live in Texas. I get asked quite often how I ended up in Austin. I grew up in Rochester, N.Y. and lived there 18 years before going to college at the University of Minnesota. While I was in school at Minnesota, my brother was going to grad school at the University of Texas. During my spring breaks I would visit my brother in Austin and loved it. Also, during that time, my parents retired and moved to Georgetown, Tx. So...when I finished school I followed my family to the warmer climate after 23 years of being cold and moved to Austin. We are all here in Texas now and we get see everyone every few weeks (which I'm sure Brandon loves!) for birthdays, holidays and even for no reason in particular. So it's nice to be close even though my parents would like to see us even more! Our family celebration last weekend was my niece's 7th birthday...

To finish off the weekend we celebrated baby Addison's soon to be birthday (due at the end of the month) at Adam and Rita's baby shower with good friends. I also get asked the question when will we have a baby Marsh on the way. Well...you can just keep asking!
